Manchester United target Manuel Ugarte has been left out of Paris Saint-Germain’s squad for Friday’s Ligue 1 opener against Le Havre.
The 23-year-old Uruguay international is a target for United, with Erik ten Hag keen to strengthen his midfield. After signing three defenders and a forward this summer.สมัคร UFABET
According to a report from the Daily Mail earlier this week. PSG are ready to sell Ugarte but the French club’s asking price is £52m. The same figure they paid for the player from Sporting Lisbon in July last year. A price the Red Devils consider too high.
Fabrizio Romano has provided further updates, after confirming Ugarte will not feature for PSG on Friday. Romano also said the player has made it clear he wants to move to Old Trafford as soon as possible.
However, the move appears to hinge on whether PSG is willing to lower its demands.
Ugarte made 37 appearances in all competitions for PSG last season after joining from Sporting Lisbon. With Chelsea also attempting to sign him before PSG were successful.
He previously made 85 appearances for Sporting over a two-year spell, having started his career in Portugal with Famalicao.
Ugarte has won 22 caps for Uruguay.
