Crystal Palace are set to reject a fourth bid from Newcastle worth £60m for England defender Marc Guehi. The Daily Mail previously revealed that the Magpies had made a fourth bid for the England international on Friday.

But sources close to the deal say the package is not to Palace’s liking.สมัคร UFABET

It is understood the latest offer includes £60m in guarantees plus a further £5m in bonuses.

Palace want at least £65m for Guehi and it appears that chairman Steve Parish wants that sum to be guaranteed, excluding bonuses, which could take the deal up to £70m.

Newcastle are now considering pulling out of the deal. But it remains to be seen whether they will continue to negotiate with their number one target.

The new deal comes after significant talks between Newcastle sporting director Paul Mitchell and Palace co-owner Parish. Who is responsible for the negotiations for their club.

If the deal is successful, it would surpass the club’s record signing of Alexander Isak in 2022, who moved to Newcastle for £60m.

Palace want a minimum £65million for Guehi and it appears chairman Steve Parish is demanding. That amount in guaranteed money, excluding additional bonuses, meaning Newcastle face paying closer to £70million to complete the transfer.
